About
Joaquin was born in a province of vast green pampas in northeastern Argentina, renowned for its gaucho traditions, friendly people, and tranquilly. His mother encouraged him to pick up the guitar and learn how to express himself musically at a young age, and he grew up surrounded by untamed nature, riding horses, herding cows, and playing in the woods.
After graduating from university, he relocated to Europe, where he lived in several countries and travelled the world for 12 years. He cherishes all of these memories and they follow him on his journey.
Curiosity has always been north of his compass, and he was always captivated by mysterious topics and asked himself questions that led to the birth of new ones. Along the way, he came across a variety of influences from people all over the world, which exposed him to ritual, devotion, and spirituality.
After many years of travelling, he founded House of the Rising Mojo, where he unpacked his luggage and shared the arts he had gathered with the community for seven years. In his practice, he uses a number of ways to reach the eternal home of the soul, the source, including dance, music, and prayer.
Joaquin develops the art of singing, drawing inspiration from nature and applying what he has personally learnt to his life as a student. His practice of ancient American cosmovisions serves as a major inspiration for his songs and the initiation experiences he provides through retreats like "Song Quest," "Quyllur Naani," and "Humming Beings."
In addition to leading ceremonies and hosting circles around the world, Joaquin is a musician, composer, producer, sound healer, and ceremonialist. He speaks five languages fluently, is fascinated by mythology, adventure, and loves people.
