The Hunt and Breeding of One's Own Song is a guided creative and spiritual journey steeped in poetic, rural, adventurous traditions. It invites us to take a deep journey via personal music and inner landscapes, drawing on stories, cultural elements, territory, and philosophy to develop the voice and song as ceremonial art.

Felipe Kilakeo
Felipe is a therapist who specialises in Naturopathy, Iridology, Phytotherapy, Medical Arts, and Spiritual Sciences. He is a ceremonial director and musician from Mapuche Qolla lineage. He practices Andean rituals and conducts study on ancient technologies. He studied South American native traditions. His work focusses on preserving and expanding ancestral memory by integrating culture, art, spirituality, and medicine in Indigenous and Mestizo communities. He is the author, composer, vocalist, and instrumentalist of Ikkaruna - Songs of Good Living (Cantos del Buen Vivir).

Joaquin del Mojo
Joaquin is a Musician, singer, composer, sound healer and ceremonialist studying the ceremonial arts through the ancient cosmovisions of north and south America for the last 6 years. Borned in Argentina he has been in contact with wild nature all his life and finds inspiration, medicine and a school in the simplicity of the natural and cosmic laws.
Joaquin is also the founder of House of the Rising Mojo, creator of Song Quest and co creator of Humming Beings.
HUMMING BEINGS IS A CUSTOMISED EXPERIENCE FOR THOSE THAT REFER TO SINGING AS A PRACTICE OF ENCHANTMENT, BEYOND ENTERTAINMENT TO COMMUNICATE WITH LIFE INTENTIONALLY.

Who is this for?
Casa Shanti is a beautiful retreat centre built with stone and wood at the foot of an ancient volcano. It is owned by a couple of artists who have dedicated their lives to building it into the wonderful, soulful place that it is. During Humming Beings, we will have three vegetarian meals a day, homemade with products from their garden.
Casa Shanti is located just outside of Mafra, Portugal, 45 minutes away from Lisbon Airport.
Most rooms are doubles; for the normal fee, you will be sharing with one other person. If you prefer to remain alone, there are a few possibilities at an additional cost of €150 (please enquire).
